About UsCMB Kids, LLC, was incorporated in 2008 with the express purpose of developing the Camp MakeBelieve Eight Step Program for distribution as a nationally marketed, easily implemented children’s after-school program. Pamela M. Goldberg, RN, M.S., creator of the Camp MakeBelieve Eight Step Program, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has spent over a decade developing and testing the materials used in the Program. Together with Janie M. Root and consultant Claudia M. Newbury, she has expanded and formatted the original program, so that it can be used by almost anyone – from camp counselors or scout leaders to other Marriage and Family Therapists. In addition, many individuals contributed to the development of the Camp MakeBelieve instructional materials, including colleagues in the therapeutic community, teachers, tutors, writers, illustrators and program developers. Their consultation, administrative support, research and relentless effort have contributed to the success of this program. Many talented writers, editors, artists, singers, songwriters, and actors have provided their time and talents to the development of the Camp MakeBelieve products. Testimony"Lucas talks about the things he learns in CMB. He has spent this last year working on anger, personal space, attention/focus and awareness of others. We see a lot of improvement (in these areas) in Lucas and know CMB helped him in a way that we couldn't. We are looking forward to sessions in the future. |
