There are many uses for the Camp MakeBelieve Kids program. The program is uniquely suited to work in a variety of situations and scenarios. We are continually surprised when new applications are being discovered and new areas where a good social and emotional learning program are applicable.

Social and Emotional Learning

Social and Emotional Learning principles form the bedrock of the program. These proven techniques help children achieve new levels of emotional satisfaction, intelligence, relational success and happiness.

Character Education

Counseling Groups

CMB Kids' Virtual Counselor is a unique tool that will lead children of all ages into counseling groups to help them with their social and emotional development.

Academic Enrichment

The Camp MakeBelieve Kids social and emotional learning program most definitely falls under the category of academic enrichment with interactive, fun activities that raise a child's emotional intelligence, leading to improved academic performance and enriched classroom time.

Reading Literacy

The CMB Kids program has aligned with Reading Literacy Standards through the use of age and grade appropriate materials. Our program will help students of all ages improve their reading and comprehension scores.

The classroom is a perfect setting for CMB Kids unique program focused on building emotionally competent kids through literacy and cooperative learning activities.

Response to Intervention

Camp MakeBelieve Kids uses Response to Intervention (RTI) processes to address student deficits. The concept is simple, yet systematic: student weaknesses are identified, goals are created, interventions are developed and implemented to address these weaknesses, student progress is monitored, and the effectiveness of the interventions is evaluated. 

Prevention

The Camp MakeBelieve Kids Program is a social and emotional learning prevention program that keeps children from taking their feelings out the wrong way. The program prevents kids from acting on their negative impulses.
