HomeSchool Parents and Teachers Resources That Help Build Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem In Children from Age 5 to 13

"For the first time Davey is actually making friends. His confidence is soaring!  Best of all, he shares his feelings with me." --Dave Brinkman, Father of Davie age 7

Here's How to Solve the HomeSchool Parent's Biggest Challenge

Families who homeschool their children face tremendous challenges. More than providing meaningful and effective instruction, you’re probably doing all you can to make sure that your child also gains critical social skills gained by interacting with peers. In addition to all the other vital tasks involved in homeschooling, you’re also seeking ways to provide a variety of social experiences to help round out your child’s life.

Our Parenting Program goes right to the heart of teaching social skills.

  • It helps to develop social awareness.
  • It teaches children how to identify feelings in themselves and others.
  • It helps children manage anger and stress appropriately.
  • It emphasizes self-esteem, self-control and character-building.
  • It provides creative, imaginative and even spiritual activities.

As you use the Parenting Program with your child you will notice some wonderful changes taking place.

Your child will be able to see a piece of the world – and learn how to manage his or her world, through reading, singing, crafts, drama and doing the activities in our Parenting Program.

Camp MakeBelieve will enrich the home learning experience – for you and for your child!
