Founder & Creator Pamela Goldberg, RN, M.S., Family and Marriage Therapist
Pamela Goldberg has a busy private counseling practice focusing on children and adolescents in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is frequently called upon by school districts, professional groups and non-profit organizations to conduct workshops and lectures in the areas of child development, classroom management and smart parenting. Pamela received her Master of Science Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Lewis University in Lockport, Illinois. She was the youngest in her graduating class at Little Company of Mary Hospital Nursing School where she won the award for Dedication and Perseverance. She practiced as a critical care nurse for over 10 years before turning her focus to child, marriage and family issues. A resilient child from the south side of Chicago, Pamela Goldberg spent her childhood engaged in rough and tumble sports with her 12 brothers and sisters as team members. Pam and her husband (an ER physician) have successfully raised 3 sons in a modern day blended family. Pamela's education and life experiences culminated in the creation of a program that would make a difference in the lives of many children, Camp MakeBelieve. Through her Camp MakeBelieve Kids After-School Program, Pamela has developed a multitude of unique inter-locking educational tools that help children to learn life lessons while using their imaginations and having fun. Her original characters, stories, workbooks, musical play, songs, guided imagery, games, posters, strategies and hands-on activities are all geared at building emotionally competent kids. Pamela presents lectures and workshops at local and national conferences. You can reach Ms. Goldberg at 702-256-2006. For upcoming Presentations or Trainings check out the CMBKids Blog. Email:
