Camp MakeBelieve Kids Program

The Camp MakeBelieve Kids Program is an award winning 8-step children's program built upon proven social and emotional learning techniques for children. 8 Step Guidebook

The 8 Step Guidebook instructs both teachers and counselors how to implement the program and is designed as a 32 week (8 month) course that meets weekly for 1.5 hour sessions. The Guidebook breaks down very complicated concepts into simple step by step instructions that allows teachers or counselors to carry out the lesson plans. 

Workbooks

The program includes 8 workbooks focusing on a unique character and social and emotional learning situation kids find themselves in growing up. These colorful workbooks are a delight for children of all ages!

Guided Imagery

Guided Imagery allows children to access their imaginations while entering into a fantasy. These useful teaching tools in the form of imaginative stories were created especially for children, but are loved by all ages, including teenagers.

Musical Playlet

The Musical Playlet, "Mr. Feathers!", was created and performed by professional actors, musicians and writers to bring the CMB Kids characters to life. Through voice animation and music, this educational tool provides 70 minutes of entertainment through Social Stories and situations, divided into 7 short segments.

Parents

The Parent Memo is an important building block in the program and helps bridge the gap between lessons and home. When parents learn along with their children the social and emotional skills from the program, the improvements with children are greater and longer lasting.
